Dallas Fuel Roster Moves Ignite Hope for a Brighter Season 2

What may shock Dallas Fuel followers the most about their roster announcement is not who they ended up letting go, but who they kept on the team. In the early afternoon of Sept. 4, Dallas Fuel took to Twitter to give their fans an update:

The Dallas Fuel’s Fantastic Stage 4

What an absolute culture flip from the Dallas Fuel in the last stage of the OWL Season 1. After going through countless trials and tribulations as a team, it finally looked like the 4-24 Fuel were firing on all cylinders over the course of Stage 4, led by Mickie and his brawny Brigitte. Taimou and OGE were found their former glory and were looking crisp and clean, Seagull had improved upon his already rock-solid D.Va play, and HarryHook and Unkoe stayed sharp in the backline.  Read more …

Overwatch World Cup 2018: Early Roster Breakdown

The Overwatch World Cup approaches. For Americans, this means that the whole missing out on the FIFA World Cup thing isn’t really a big deal. (No, it doesn’t! We should still be sad.)

Anyways, there have been plenty of rumors and lots of news about who will represent Team USA, and we’re here to try and put what we know into one location.

Overwatch League: Playoff Implications in Every Match

Day One of Week Two in this fourth and final Stage of the OWL’s inaugural season was a doozie. The surprises continue, as the Brigitte meta seems to be turning the OWL on its head. Dallas improved to 2-1, giving themselves their first over .500 stage record of the season. Los Angeles Valiant took down the Florida Mayhem to improve their lead over the Seoul Dynasty in the Pacific Division. To finish the night Los Angeles’s other team the Gladiators took down the Houston Outlaws, improving their playoff chances.

Overwatch League – Philadelphia Fusion vs Dallas Fuel – S3W5

The Stage 3 Finals Week starts with the Philadelphia Fusion, looking to rekindle the magic that saw them seeded in the Stage 2 Finals. Across the stage are the Dallas Fuel, who have no hopes of reaching the Stage Finals, looking to deny the Fusion their second “Miracle on the Payload”…

Watch Out (S3W5): The Houston Outlaws are Pushing for a Playoff Spot, but so is Everyone Else!

Are we at the end of another stage again? Already? This is ridiculous!

I know the progression of time is linear and all that, but it certainly doesn’t feel like it these days, especially in the Overwatch League. Week after week, these games seem to fly by- but I suppose that’s why I’m here, right? To slow things down a bit, and show you all the best bits to keep an eye on as we hurtle through time and space. Well don’t worry! I’ve gone and done exactly that. Read on.  Read more …

In a battle for the right to not be considered the second worst team in Overwatch League, Dallas Fuel took on the Florida Mayhem in Wednesday’s final match. Watch Out (S3W4): The Boston Uprising Seek Perfection as the Fusion Fight for Fourth

With the end of the stage approaching once again, teams are in a mad dash to secure their spot in the newly expanded 4-team playoff bracket. The Boston Uprising, NYXL and LA Valiant all seem like shoe-ins, but there’s still one more spot to consider.

Fourth place is now the most hotly contested spot in the Overwatch League, and the middle of the pack will need to step up in a big way to secure their place before playoffs come. San Francisco, Seoul, Philly, Houston, London, and the Gladiators are all within a couple maps of each other, so anyone could steal the last spot away by the time the week is through. That’s assuming we don’t see any upsets this week, either… I don’t know if I’d bet on that. Especially once you read this.  Read more …
