The Atlanta Reign’s colors are a grey and maroon-red color scheme, fitting with other Atlanta sports teams such as the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. The logo shows what is supposedly a phoenix, rising from the ashes. The brand seems to be pushing a theme of second chances – possible hints towards their roster makeup.
Brad “Sephy” Rajani, former head coach for the San Francisco Shock and Contenders team Last Night’s Leftovers, will lead the staff as head coach with Dimitri “Silence” Couturet, former analyst for LNL. Paul Hamilton, CEO of Atlanta Esports Ventures, will also be CEO and General Manager of the team.
Atlanta Reign will be operated by Atlanta Esports Ventures, a joint venture between Cox Enterprises and Province, Inc. Cox Enterprises is a telecommunications and auto conglomerate with major holdings throughout Atlanta and will own the team.
Also announced today was the roster for the Paris OWL team. Both teams will be joined by another six expansion teams, with further announcements to come later this year.
