Get ready to wipe that goose egg off the scoreboard. After months with a roster of three, the future of the Shanghai Dragons has been revealed.

Late Monday evening, after a dramatic lead-up, the team announced the signing of six new players going into Overwatch League Season 2.

The majority of the signings came from KongDoo Panthera, the former team of Shanghai’s new head coach Seong-hwan “BlueHaS” We. Projectile DPS Jin-hyeok “DDing” Yang, flex player Young-jin “YOUNGJIN” Jin, and supports Seong-hyeon “Luffy” Yang and Kyung-woo “CoMa” Son will be moving from KDP to the Dragons’ lineup. KongDoo has had an impressive year, culminating in a second-place finish in Contenders Korea Season 2. Many fans had theorized that some of that squad would accompany their coach into the Overwatch League under the Dragons’ banner.

The other two signings were off-tank Jun-hwan “GuardiaN” Jo, most recently of Toronto Esports, and hitscan Min-seong “diem” Bae of Lucky Future Zenith — also known for his close friendship (and matching battletags) with Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee of the Philadelphia Fusion.

Along with Season 1 players Weida “Diya” Lu, Se-yeon “Geguri” Kim and Eui-Seok “Fearless” Lee, Shanghai confirms that this will be the team’s final lineup for Season 2.
