Team Summary

In the first season of the Overwatch League, the Los Angeles Valiant racked up a stage win, a 4th place finish, and thousands of dedicated LA fans. A solid base of former Immortals players led them to have a consistently successful season. Mid-season pickups, such as offtank Space and former Fuel shotcaller Custa, allowed them to get ahead of the pack in the latter half of the season. With new expansion teams to contend with, they’re looking to stay ahead in Season 2.

Overwatch League: Playoff Implications in Every Match

Day One of Week Two in this fourth and final Stage of the OWL’s inaugural season was a doozie. The surprises continue, as the Brigitte meta seems to be turning the OWL on its head. Dallas improved to 2-1, giving themselves their first over .500 stage record of the season. Los Angeles Valiant took down the Florida Mayhem to improve their lead over the Seoul Dynasty in the Pacific Division. To finish the night Los Angeles’s other team the Gladiators took down the Houston Outlaws, improving their playoff chances.

The Seoul Dynasty are in for a Hell of a Week as Houston’s Hot Streak is Put to the Test: Watch Out! (S4W2)

What a stage it’s been so far, huh? I kinda (and by kinda I mean definitely) regret missing Watch Out last week, but final exams wait for no man, even if there were amazing Overwatch games to cover. With those finals now totally (hopefully) passed, it’s time to take a look at this week’s matches!

Overwatch League – Los Angeles Valiant Declaw Seoul Dynasty – S4W1D1

As Stage 4 of the Overwatch League kicked off the teams have both the Stage Finals and the Inaugural Season Playoffs on their minds and in sight. While the path to the playoffs is easy for the very top teams of the New York Excelsior and Boston Uprising, the teams in the middle are all very much in contention and gunning to lock their own places in history. The new stage means a new patch and this time it includes the long anticipated availability and Overwatch League debut of Brigitte Lindholm.

The LA Gladiators Will Keep their Shields Up for Stage 4- Overwatch League Predictions with Nina “Missie” Schneider

Stage 4 is starting today, which means it’s time for new predictions! It feels like with every stage it gets harder and harder to predict which teams will find their way to the top of the leaderboard. Some teams are improving, some are in a slump. With a new patch, and most likely a completely new meta, we could see a lot of changes.
