Announced on the Overwatch League’s Twitter account, the Inaugural Season Grand Finals will be held July 27th & 28th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The Barclays Center opened in 2012 and is the current home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the NHL’s New York Islanders. It is a 19,000 capacity full service facility with four levels of seating including two suite levels. The arena has also hosts various concerts and other activities including the fall ESL ONE New York CSGO tournament.

Located in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City, this will be the first time that the Overwatch League plays live games on the east coast. The drive from Philadelphia to the Barclays Center is around 2 and a half hours and the drive from Boston is around 5 hours. Both cities are on the Northeast Amtrak corridor making access for fans of their teams to have the opportunity to attend live matches.
